S2J Summer Academy
Who: Current 8th - 9th Grade Students*

The High School S2J Summer Academy offers an immersive learning experience that is both educational and engaging!
Through a combination of hands-on activities, industry partner tours, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, students are provided a glimpse into a variety of science-related careers. On-campus activities and industry demonstrations provide a fun and unique way to explore and cultivate a passion for Science.
Academy sessions will feature activities in bioscience, environmental science, exercise science, forensic science, and health science. Students will participate in each session to learn more about these Science fields.

Join us this summer for a journey that goes beyond textbooks and discover the connections between Science and Jobs!

NEW THIS YEAR!
Students will visit Wildcat Glades in Joplin, MO. The experience will include a tour of their facilities and engaging indoor and outdoor activities. More details to come!

*The High School S2J Summer Academy is limited to a total of 30 participants. The S2J Summer Academy is open to current 8th and 9th grade students in Missouri school districts. On-campus overnight residency is required.
